Sidi El Hani is one of the cities of the Tunisian Republic, located in the Sousse Governorate.

Its population is 13,505 according to the 2014 census. It is known for its vast agricultural lands and dry climate as it is situated between two sabkhas: to the south is the Sidi Al-Hani sabkha, which is the largest in the republic, and to the north is the Kalbiya sabkha.

Geography

 

Since 1994, it has been elevated to the rank of a delegation. The latter occupies a central location that connects it to the coast and the interior of the country, bordered to the north by the delegations of Kendar and Qal'at al-Kubra, to the east by the delegation of Qal'at al-Sughra and Msaken, while to the west it is bordered by the governorate of Kairouan and to the south by the governorate of Mahdia (delegation of Sawasi) and Monastir (delegation of Wardaniyah).

It includes six councils: Sidi El Hani Central, Sidi El Hani Western, Sidi El Hani Southern, Ouled Ali Belhanni, Central Krousia, and Western Krousia.
